Day 4 – February 20, 2023, Monday (President’s Day) So a lot of what happens on the islands revolves around the typical work week – as in, on the weekends, and holidays like today, the beaches will be crowded with locals and more shops in smaller towns will be closed. Day 11 – Friday, June 17, 2022 – Cortez, CO to Alamosa, CO The journey slowly east home has begun! Today we planned to spend the morning at Mesa Verde National Park, right outside of Cortez, then drive 3-4 hours east to Alamosa. Spend a couple nights there, then Lincoln, NE (UGGHHHH), then home!
